Groningen gasquakes

Earthquakes caused by 50 years of gas drilling are a major problem in Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands. Thousands of houses have been damaged and many have to be demolished and rebuilt. Residents of the area are fed up with drilling company NAM and have lost their trust in the government, which in their eyes doesn't do enough to guarantee their safety and to put gas revenues above their personal suffering.
